What this site does and doesn't do

Ars Tantra Society is a non-commercial cultural project. This website does not sell products, does not process payments, and does not build user profiles for advertising or commercial purposes.

The only data collected — and only with your explicit consent — is anonymous, aggregated analytical data that helps us understand how the site is used, which sections are read most, and where visitors come from geographically.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

GA4 uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser — to collect aggregated, anonymised information about how visitors navigate the site. No cookie is set and no tracking occurs unless you explicitly accept via the banner shown on your first visit.

The data collected includes:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Approximate geographic origin (country / region level — not precise location)
• Type of device and browser used
• How you arrived at the site (direct link, search engine, social media)

This data is processed and stored by Google on servers that may be located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google's processing is governed by its own Privacy Policy.

Data is retained for a maximum of 26 months, after which it is automatically deleted.

Your rights and choices

You are in full control. You can:

• Refuse all analytics cookies by clicking "Rifiuta / Decline" on the banner — no tracking will occur at any point during your visit
• Change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's local storage and cookies, which will reset your preference and show the banner again on your next visit
• Opt out of Google Analytics globally by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
• Contact us directly at info@arstantra.org for any privacy-related request

As a resident of the European Union you also have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data held about you, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).

Contact forms

When you use the contact form on this site, the information you provide (name, email address, and message) is transmitted via EmailJS directly to our inbox. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not stored on any external server beyond standard email infrastructure. It is never sold, shared, or used for marketing.

Guest references

If you choose to leave a reference or testimonial on this site, the name, location, and text you provide will be displayed publicly in the References section. By submitting a reference you consent to this display. You may request its removal at any time by writing to info@arstantra.org.

No third-party advertising

This site contains no advertising, no affiliate links, and no tracking pixels for commercial purposes. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Ever.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to how we handle data, we will update this page and revise the date below. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
